Spring/Summer 2024: Looks for the Perfect Guest

Spring/Summer 2024: Looks for the Perfect Guest

If last week we presented the new Spring/Summer 2024 collection, today we discover what trends the main catwalks and brands have left us, for the perfect guest.

To analyse them, we separate these trends into two, depending on whether they are marked by the style of fabric or its colour.

When the fabric is in charge:

Voluminous dresses

We start by looking at a tendency seen in the Altuzarra fashion show. A well-established fashion brand that is characterised by its sophisticated and modern style, with garments that combine classic tailoring with contemporary details.

It presents an interesting play on volumes, like the one we see below, with a flared silhouette that was once popularised by Cristóbal Balenciaga.

A reinterpretation (or evolution) of the babydoll style, which we can achieve with elegant, quality, stiff and full-bodied fabrics, such as our ARANCHA satin:

Lingerie style

And we move from a trend where volume predominates to one where movement and drape are the protagonists, enhancing a sensual and very feminine look . Indeed, we are talking about the lingerie style.

A trend that we have already seen in previous seasons, but that designers such as Coperni, , Gucci or Ulla Johnson continue defending. In addition, this year we go a step further and we see how these lingerie pieces are applied with details such as lace or 3D flowers.

For this, we will opt for one of our classics combined with a very elegant embroidered tulle. Like this composition that we propose:

NEW! ODON. Reference: 04186/01-0301. Embroidered tulle fabric adorned with stones. Finished in waves.

Freshness through transparency

Although it is true that transparencies are nothing new, this year brands such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Issey Miyake and Saint Laurent have played with vaporous designs, giving a sense of freshness to the garment.

To achieve this effect, we can use fabrics such as chiffon or georgette, or even soft tulle with a drape. But we can also use openwork fabrics such as net or crochet, for example:

NEW! ADHARA. Reference: 03971-0116. Woven fabric with geometric patterns.

NEW! KARIM. Reference: 04166-0103. Embroidered openwork fabric.

NEW! GITANILLA. Reference: 04165-0001. Embroidered openwork fabric.

When colour sets the trend:

All in White

We continue with another trend that we have seen in the different proposals of designers such as Aigner Munich, Jill Sander or Alberta Ferreti. Designs that stand out for being totally white, a classic colour in fashion that is associated with purity, elegance and freshness.

Wearing white is a safe bet: it's a versatile and timeless shade . And wearing monochrome looks in white gives a sense of cleanliness and minimalist style.

Although protocol dictates that it would not be the colour to choose for a wedding guest, as it is the colour reserved for the bride in our culture, it can be used for elegant dinners, inaugurations, baptisms, communions, graduations... and in short, any occasion where we want to show off a more sophisticated style.

As it is a trend, we have a lot of novelties in white fabrics. Let's discover some of them:

NEW! ADILA. Reference: 04172-0101. Lace fabric embellished with strips of thread and some sequins giving some sparkle (vertical stripes).

NEW! REINOSA. Reference: 04030-0001. Embroidered batiste fabric perforated with flowers.

NEW! CLIVIA. Reference: 04159-0101. Cloqué jacquard fabric, a weaving technique that creates a relief on the fabric, giving the appearance of folds or creases.

BAMBULA. Reference: 01433-0001. 100% viscose fabric.

Combination Black/White

If white is one of the colours of the season, it is impossible not to have the Black/White combination, the classic par excellence of fashion.

It is a timeless classic that has endured through the decades. This combination is considered elegant, sophisticated and versatile, capable of creating great visual impact; characteristics that make it highly appreciated in the fashion world.

It allows you to play with the fabrics, the pattern and, in short, the whole imaginary of the creator.

This combination can be formed from two fabrics, or by looking for a fabric that already combines these shades by itself. We can find it in the form of a print or faux plain:

NEW! TOFUA. Reference: 03944-0002. Chanel fabric.

NEW! GAZANIA. Reference: 04163/01-0103. 100% cotton check fabric, embroidered in cotton thread.

NEW! DUARTE. Reference: 04183-0001. Embroidered cotton fabric.

NEW! TANARO. Reference: 04045-0002. Plain linen fabric with viscose and spandex.

Pastel shades

Also called "powdered", this chromatic range remains firm one more season thanks to the proposals of FendiCarolina Herrera or Del Core. The lighter tones are ideal for the hottest days of the year.

To complete this proposal, beyond our classic fabrics, we have opted for two embroideries that bring us closer to the coquette style, so trendy this year:

NEW! SENIN. Reference: 04181-0752. Embroidered tulle fabric with wave finish.

NEW! AIRAS. Reference: 04175/01-0310. Embroidered cotton batiste fabric.

Blue or Cobalt Blue

It is a shade that has permeated all the trends of the season, even reaching flamenco fashion. Such has been the effect that we have seen it on the main catwalks of Acne StudiosLoeweThe Row and , Issey Miyake.

It is a colour that is simply awesome.

NEW! D-NEW-GEORGETTE. Reference: 04193/05-0335. Chiffon fabric. Polka dot print 0.50 cm.

POPELIN ALGODON. Reference: 03848-0307. Plain cotton poplin fabric.

Metallic (Silver)

A trend that stretches from its predecessor season A/W 23-24, when metallic trousers were first introduced, and is gradually spreading to other garments.

Proposals that we have seen in the fashion shows of ChloéDieselCarolina Herrera or Courrèges, to name a few.

In addition to the classic plain silver models, such as PALMA or ADINA, we also present two more daring options:

NEW! FIESTA OBBA. Reference: 04139-0206. Lycra fabric adorned with sewn sequins. Stretch on both sides.
