With the end of WeLoveFlamenco2024 and SIMOF 2024, we can discover the new flamenco trends by analysing the more than 80 catwalks and the creations of 116 designers. With the intention of be prepared for the upcoming fairs and pilgrimages.

Red in the spotlight
In the world of flamenco fashion, where every detail counts and every fabric is an expression of passion and tradition, red is one of the most flamenco colours.Although it is always present, in 2024 it takes centre stage. No matter if it is plain, with polka dots or vibrant prints, red and its derivatives are the safe bet to stand out in any event.

The classics: black and white
Black and white are elegant and timeless combinationsthat never go unnoticed. These classic tones work their magic in this year's flamenco dresses,adding a touch of sophistication and versatility.White is presented in dresses that evoke freshness. And black brings a contemporary and seductive air to the designs. An example of the use of this combination can be found in the opening fashion show of the season,directed by designer José Hidalgo:

The power of vitamin colours
Vitamin colours are making their appearance on the first catwalks of 2024, evoking freshness and joy. These shades, from coral and fuchsia to lime green and electric blue,create designs that challenge expectations and spread joy around every corner.

Bold prints
These last few days we have been able to see different prints on the catwalks, some more conservative and classic, and others more daring. Several designers have decided to try unusual colour combinations,playing with geometrics, stripes and checks.
